The most interesting thing about it these days is that it is now the Architecture Department of the Frederick II University of Naples. It is one of the best examples in Naples of the sacred to secular process of recycling old monasteries that went on in the 19th and 20th centuries in Naples and elsewhere in Italy. See this link. |
